I had heard about these guys, and set up a trade to see what it was about... Helicopters pulled me in!

This has some really great jams. Love the Magellan.
I too agree about how much they've really progressed. They really did jam back in the day. Who knows though you can tell they've definitely figured some stuff out over the years and have improved in many ways in terms of their understanding of how to put things together and what sounds good and why. At the same time though these jams are pretty remarkable in comparison to what I've been hearing lately. Regardless though, keep rockin' out bisco I love you guys.
In contemplating a little further...I wonder if in realizing what sounds good and being able to look at music more mathematically over the years has lessened their ability to mindlessly jam and come up with sweet stuff like this. Pardon my not very technical way of explaining things but you can't help but wonder if this took away from their ability to really just let loose and jam.

This was my first DB show!!! And I was only 15 years old. Wilmer's park was such a sweet place at that young age to me, but it was definitely getting shady as hell. Some of my best young music experiences went down there, and my discovery of TDB definitely revolutionized my later teen/early twenty years!! Heli-magellan-copters is still dank!

I am starting to wonder how much bisco has really progressed since these early days. The helicopters jam is so sweet, with great synth. Magellan has 2 different jams that showcase why I love em. I think they had something going in their jams that over time they lost. More adventurous and off the hook. The semi-techno/rock in the good jams seem quite innovative. Disco biscuits clocked to the ceiling outside, synced up. Sound board - crispy - clear - bomber! The best one set show that I have heard.
